Bose does make an active noise cancelling (coming out in August)...but they will be retail $300. The non tangle cord is def. worth this version (the earlier version of these has an old school cord).

Decent if on sale

They have good sound isolation and help keep out the outside noise so that only the music is heard. The price is reasonable when they are on sale but cost too much for what you get when full price. I have owned shure headphones which seemed to have higher-quality cabling and have better sound but also cost twice as much so you get what you pay for…

Ok returned for better sounding headphones

Posted by: STraightupD from Arizona on 06/15/2013I got these headphones to replace my Yurbuds - Ironman Series after my cat decided to chew the cord in half. I was expecting a better sound quality out of the Klipsch but it just wasn't there. The highs sounded ok at best and there was zero bass from these. The Yurbud iron man series are ten dollars more and the sound is much better. I ended up replacing these with the Yurbuds - Limited Edition Focus Earbuds. These blow both pairs out of the water and are worth the extra money at $99.99.

Posted by: GregBRetired from Brandon, MS on 06/07/2013I use ear-phones daily for most everything from listening to my MP3 to watching movies. For years, I've used Bose ear-phones because of the quality, workmanship and sound.
Recently, my Bose ear-phones quit working. I went to my local Best Buy and while there was introduced to the Klipsch Image S4 by a sales person. Quite a lot cheaper than the Bose, so I decided to give them a try. To my amazement, the quality of sound was fantastic! The workmanship appears to be solid and even the cords attaching to the ear-phones are much more substantial than others on the market.
In addition, not only are they comfortable, but somewhat act as a noise canceling system. Depends on how deep you push them in as to outside noises getting in.
I highly recommend to anyone wanting a very good set of ear-phones to try out the Klipsch Image S4 Stereo Earphone

Returned them overrated/over priced

They were suggested by a Best Buy associate, don't buy them if you want to save the money go for the Sennheiser, the sound is amazing compared to the Klipsch,
