Amazing for vocals "Screaming Deal"5

I got during "deal of the day" sale so i was a little apprehensive because of the low price, but i received very quickly and the quality of the product seemed very sturdy. the setup was easy and i decided to put the extra legs on, which made it fit perfectly over the base of the tv but still far enough under the bezel of the screen that my tv remote still works effectively from any angle. i tried the sound while watching the tv, playing ps3 games(new god of war is awesome), and watching a movie. all sounded great. i now only put my tv volume between 10 and 15 max where as before i had to put all the way up to the eightys. wish i would have known it was such a great bargain because i would have bought a few more as gifts. very happy that i took a chance.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

I bought this soundbar to go with my new LG HDTV. I like the sleek look. It has met my needs so far. Sounds great with gaming and movies. Plus it was at a great price when I purchased it(under $50).8 out of 9 found this review helpful.

No better than TV speakers1

I was afraid that 40W wouldn't be enough power and that the lack of any type of woofer would cause a weak sound experience and I was right. It was easy to hook up and looked nice, but it seriously was no louder than the speakers in my LG TV. I returned this item and purchased a traditional home theater system with 500W and a separate sub-woofer. Don't waste your time with this product.14 out of 18 found this review helpful.

The soundboard pretty much solves the problem of small thin ineffective speakers in new TV's. As noted, a few network shows aren't perfect, though better. Otherwise, audio much improved. Despite some confusing info on reviews re the installation, it was a piece of cake. For about $70, I bought the soundboard (on sale) and a 3 yr protection plan. A real bargain. Delivery was quick. Bought this as an alternative to the standard tv speakers and they are great. I wouldn't say they are much louder than tv speakers but the sound is clearer. I use this in our great room where sound echoes very well, including ambient noise from around the house. I was finding that the tv volume was always maxed by my older inlaws because they could not hear the tv over the noise of the kid, anything going on in the kitchen, or another maxed out tv somewhere else. This doesn't solve all the problems but it does help in that the sound is very clear and easy to understand. Definitely a great buy for me.5 out of 7 found this review helpful.

Bought this after I purchased a 70" Sharp LED TV from bestbuy a few weeks prior and the TV being so big doesn't have the best sound...the Lg soundbar was on bestbuy.com as a "deal of the day" item and was on sale for only $39.99 (reg $99.99$ with free shipping which I considered a great price..it came in the mail fast and when I installed it i was very disappointed in the sound quality,the soundbar sounds ABSOULTLEY NO BETTER than the sound of the Sharp 70" LED TV I have it paired with and you can't even tell when the soundbar is on or if its off. There's no bass or crisp sound which I thought was the whole purpose of a soundbar .overall this soundbar is a great price but don't expect quality sound or anything out of the ordinary.you honesty can tell no difference between this and standard sound from a TV.other than Price point I see no postive features of this soundbar at all and wouldn't recommended it.9 out of 9 found this review helpful.
