We considered a few other brands, but were sold on LG reliability and the awesome 10 year warranty on the motor. After about a month of ownership, we don't regret our decision at all. The machine cleans clothes better than anything else I've ever seen (the whites come out almost blindingly bright, as do the colors), and uses very little water in the process. The tub is actually pretty big, and easily fits a relatively fluffy queen size comforter. It does take a little more time than traditional top-loaders, however, the clothes come out drier (it spins at 1,200rpm), and the dryer takes less time as a result...so your laundry is pretty synced up - no waiting for one machine to finish.
I love the cool blue and amber lighting on the buttons, and the machine itself looks clean and modern. Overall, this is the best purchase we've made in awhile, and look forward to owning this awesome machine for years to come. Highly recommended.

I had LOTS of questions for the sales staff and I went in there wanting to be impressed without spending a ton of money. This washer did not disappoint. It was well-priced and it works like a dream. It is much faster than the Whirlpool and does such a beautiful job on the clothes. It is big enough for comforters and just fine with really small loads. Great, easy-to-read display and a lovely little song at the end of the cycle. Now I want the dryer too!

Such a better washing machine than our last one!

Posted by: NavyGuy706 from CT on 05/03/2013After less than a year our previous washing machine (a top loader) was driving my wife to tears because it never drained right and the clothes always had to go through additional spin cycles just to drain enough water from them to be able to put them into the dryer. I decided to try a front loader and saw this LG at Best Buy. Although my wife was reluctant at first (Surprise! I bought you a new washer 10 months after the last one), after using the new LG front loader for the first time she quickly agreed I made a great purchase.
