I got the unit around 1:30 this afternoon and put my first load in it around 2:30. My clothes are STILL in it...almost 7 hours later! I really wanted this to work out. I did my research and read well over a hundred reviews. I knew, with the until being ventless, that the dry process would take longer. I was prepared for that, but I was not prepared for 7 hours.
I live in a condo and really wish this would have worked out better. I could have really used the extra space. I have a husband who works construction and an 18 month old daughter, so with the amount of clothing we need washed every week, this unit will not work for us. This unit would be perfect for a single person who enjoys doing laundry every day.

With that caveat, this does a great job of washing and drying your cloths. Even old T shirts are looking better, laundry dryer dust and detergent residue are a thing of the past. If there is such a thing as laundry nirvana this has to be it.
Well done LG! AND, I have to give Best Buy sales and installation folks and "ata" boy" too!! the install was on time the guys were courteous and meticulous. Me, I'm a 110% happy customer. Thank you.

I was prepared for this machine to take forever to dry-and had resigned to just deal with it! I was very pleasantly surprised after the 1st few loads of laundry-even though the dryer timer said it would take 5 hours-it really only took an hour-hour and 1/2 at most. It's very smart and knows when to stop! The clothes come out smelling so clean and fresh! Yes the 1st time some items DID feel damp immediately upon removing them from the dryer-but as several people have said-as soon as they hit the air-they were dry! You CAN wash only or dry only-someone said they could not?
This machine is amazing and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
I also bought the pedestal to lift it up a little-since I'm pretty tall-and the drawer doesn't fit my detergent-but it holds a lot of other stuff!
Just buy it! You won't be sorry.......

The instructions suck, but I figured out if you just want to wash clothes and don't dry them, then you don't touch the dryer options at all and vice versa--i.e. if you want to extra dry something without rewashing it, you turn it on and don't touch the wash options at all. This is NOT in the instructions. I love that it doesn't vent. I would also suggest getting the pedestal.

The drying is fine....I now do one load every day...except for sheets and towels...but doing laundry now, feels stress-less...no more bending over to the dryer and using the new HE pods is so easy! No more heat up in the room....no more lint on the floor and in the air!

It washes very well, but after the complete wash and dry cycle, I could still wring water out of the clothes into the sink. The dryer part doesn't work at all. Even my Under Armor workout shirts came out sopping wet. 3 loads, 3 or the same results. WET, WET, WET. I returned it within a week..Save yourself the headache, Stay away from this machine!!

Was really debating on this product there's so many mixed reviews regarding the unit taking forever to dry clothing but since I've purchased the product and done about 10 loads I haven't had one issue, takes a little longer then standard machines but not by much and honestly everything feels so much cleaner and softer. Highly recommend this product to anyone in a living space where there isn't ventilation for standard dryer.
