Great for background sounds

A great deal on an open box

I found this LG on the shelf marked as "open box" with a great price markdown plus another 10% off. I own a 55 inch LG so there was no issue with how the set would operate. There was another 37CS560 on display and the picture was excellent.
I took it to her house and had the base attached, hooked up to power and cable, and ran the setup all within 30 minutes. The setup was very simple and my mom had the remote under control perfectly by the next morning. The picture, even on coax, (her cable box was so old it had no HDMI out) was outstanding. All features and functions on the set worked properly. The sound was quite satisfactory for in-set speakers.
She loved the screen size, the colors and the ease of operation. This is a great buy for an elderly person who watches hours of TV each day.

Got rid of all those archaic sets that weigh a ton, don't have HD and went out with the dinosaurs! The picture quality is excellent and it was easy to set up and connect with my 2 LG dvd recorders/players. And, I'm 63 years old and female! take that, you young geeks! Thank you, LG and Best Buy!
