Solid but not Spectacular4

I've wanted a 1080p/120hz for quite some time. This model was on sale, so I took the plunge. The picture generally delivers as hoped, but there is a little screen door-type effect in gaming and some streaming playback. The sound quality is a negative--you have to hook up to a home theater setup or the LG sound bar (sold separately, of course). My surround sound out-of-the-box system did not have the optical input, which was the only option for sound, so I have to do some other upgrades to get full enjoyment from the TV. Also, the on-screen menus/volume indicator/etc. are a little clunky. But, for the price I got it for, I'm satisfied.- Internet Connectable? : No

Bought this to put in my bedroom and was a overall great buy. The built in speakers sound dull so I got a powered sound bar to go with it.- Internet Connectable? : No

We love this TV very much. All of our Samsung products are great (tablet, cell phone). The only thing that could be improved with this TV is the volume output. We have this in our workout room and with the treadmill or bike going you have to crank the volume all the way up to the max, even when I use the customize sound settings. When normal viewing, the volume is OK. We like the sound (jingle) it makes when you turn it on or off.- Internet Connectable? : No

Love the TV. Sharp image with great color rendention. Easy to set up and plenty of options to tailor the display to your tastes.
Some have complained about the sound not being clear enough because the speakers face to the rear. This problem I've seen reported repeatedly on many websites and about many brands. I have not found this to be true with this TV. I'm 62 years old with a 20% hearing loss in both ears, yet I can easily hear everything on the TV with the volume set between 12-24.
I also like the fact that it does not contain a lot of features that I don't need or want to pay for (3D for example).
Love the TV and would recommend it to anyone.- Internet Connectable? : Don't Know
