Bought this tv to use In my bedroom and I would not recommend this tv for use as a main tv as there are better options for just a few hundred more. With that said, this tv has far exceeded my expectations!!! The picture quality is excellent with vibrant colors and deep blacks. I have not noticed any significant impact from this tv only being 60hz. I use this tv with uverse and a ps3. 3d games and movies are not theatre quality but are quite enjoyable and better than expected. The 2d to 3d feature is not somethng I will be using as it is nowhere close to the quailty of actual 3d content. The speakers are probably the weakest I've seen on any Hdtv but for the bedroom they are fine for me. If u need a cheap 2nd tv, this is it!- Internet Connectable? : No

You won't find a better 3D tv for the price. I was initially skeptical about the whole 3D gimmick but boy did this tv make a believer out of me. Don't worry about the 60hz either, it has more than handled every 3D movie and action scene I have thrown at it with no problems what so ever. I also see that some people have said you need a sound bar, simply not true. The sound is perfectly fine. Let's not forget that you can adjust the settings to your preference if you do not like the default setting.- Internet Connectable? : No

I was actually looking for a 40" television and came across this 42" LG. After doing comparisons and reading the reviews I decided to try this LG. I got a great price on a 2 day sale which was good motivation too. I received the television yesterday (free shipping) and it was very easy to assemble the stand and get it working. The instructions were very easy to follow. Love the 42" and the picture quality is very good as is the sound. I haven't tried the 3D yet but am happy so far with this purchase.- Internet Connectable? : Don't Know

Very nice picture. Got an an awesome price on it and it works well with Smart dvd. Could use a Component in hookup. 2 HDMI's is nice to have. The only downside is the sound but most flatscreens have that flaw.- Internet Connectable? : No

Bought this TV for a good price, with free shipping to the store. Very easy to set up. Good sound and picture quality. However, we are unable to get the "major" channels (ABC, CBS, NBC) on the first try using the remote and selecting that channel. We have cable hook up directly to the TV, but no cable box. So even tho we have programmed the TV for "cable TV", "digital cable" (which we do not have) comes up, with the wrong station as the primary one. We always then have to use the drop down menu that shows up to select the station we want. This is a pain. Called LG, and they could do nothing to help us...recommended we call our cable company. NOT. So we are annoyed with this feature, but decided to keep the TV since it really does project a great picture.- Internet Connectable? : No

I love this new TV. It is so slim and trim compared to my old TV. The appearance in my family room is much more classy. I am not a techie type person. The picture and sound quality are great, what I expected for the brand and price.- Internet Connectable? : No
