    Posted by: from Cincinnati, OH on 03/08/2013I bought this TV because I wanted a smart TV, the 3D was a nice bonus. I use it with Netflix and Hulu- both very easy to set up and great quality. The TV is sleek and looks great, as well as decent sound and excellent picture quality.

Netflix had an error, had to look up code on internet to solve problem but it workes now without in issue. Have not tried the other apps. the 2D to 3D works great but makes some movies appear more like anime. I like the fact you don't have to buy expensive 3D glasses and it came with six pair. Sound quality and volume is really good. Thought by reviews I would have to get a sound bar, but it really does not need it. Remote is a pain for me (pointing it at one spot but the arrow is in a completly different spot) but my son can work it with no trouble. Direct WIFI is great, hooked up my computer and the different cell phones easily...nice feature. Can watch shows wirelessly directly from my phone or computer Overall I would buy it again..

    Solid TV for the price

The passive 3D is great(better than active 3D which I watched over a friends house at times), no crosstalk and the picture looks just as crisp as 2D. Having the option to watching any program in 3D is nice but not as good as a show/movie that was made in 3D. It comes with 6 pairs of glasses come with the TV so the whole family and a few guests can watch a 3D movie right out of the box. The picture quality is great, only problem is a alittle blur when the show moves quickly at times. It is 120 Hz. but the option for it isnt an on and off toggle but its a level that is adjustable. Depending on what you are watching you may have to adjust according. Sound is okay but for the price it can be better, set it up to a sound system and you'll be fine. The Apps are good but need more, internet speed isn't as solid as my other computers and game systems hooked up to the same wireless network. Netflix works but does buffer at times, same with YouTube. It has 4HDMI ports and has an optical port which is great for my sound system. Hook up is easy out of the box. Overall very good TV. Picture and 3D are great overall, Sound can be better as well as selection of apps but for the price its well worth it.

    Great TV except netflix only works about 60%

Apparently I am not the only one having problems with LG connection to Netflix. LG seems to blame Netflix and Netflix seems to blame LG. Cannot even run the speedtest to see how many Mbps get on the TV. It just hangs. On cable, all works very well and I can see details on football games that I never could before.
