    Posted by: from racine, wi on 04/05/2013I researched and studied different LED and PLASMA TV's for almost 6 months before choosing this one. The screen size, 60 inches, is fantastic! I looked at 55 inch models for a long time thinking it was sufficient; and though it might have been, this 60 inch TV certainly makes me feel better about purchasing the extra 5 inches. The picture quality is amazing and has several custom settings to choose from. It has plenty of input connections, too. The smart function is pretty intuitive and fun to use. I had my PC hooked up to my previous TV, and was going to hook it up to this also, but after using the smart functions, there really is no need for that. It is better than I had anticipated. After all my research and studying, this TV is certainly everything I hoped for. I bought it at my local BestBuy as an open box item for roughly $1400. An absolute steal if you ask me!!! 3D is awesome too! Enjoy!

Was led to believe the 240hz was a native refresh rate when it actually is an artificial rate generated by TruMotion software. Doesn't produce the crisp, clear picture for live action I thought I would be getting. Best Buy sales team did nothing to clear up my misunderstanding of the refresh rate when I inquired about this model's native refresh rate. I still don't know what its native refresh is, even if LG claims it generates a 240hz rate.

This TV used the same 3d glass as in a movie theater so no battery or that weird flicker thing other company's have. Has a load of easy to install apps surf the net you name it this TV does it. 3d is awesome can take any show or movie and transfers it to 3d have no clue how but the feature is crazy fun to play with

If you don't have this problem, I wouldn't hesitate buying this one. One thing I have to mention is that while watching golf, when the ball passed from the sky to the trees or grass, the set would show two or three images of the golf ball. Maybe a change to the Motion settings would fix this.
