Great Phone5

It's funny reading all the reviews about how absolutely terrible this phone is and how short the battery life is. I completely disagree.
As with any smartphone out on the market, battery life is totally dependent on your use and what settings you have it on. If your phone is set to vibrate for everything and you have you screen at the brightest setting of course you're going to have a short battery life. The same goes with how much you're on it. If you're using your phone constantly throughout the day and watching videos on top of that then of course the battery life is short.
This is the perfect phone for someone who has never owned a smartphone because it is very user friendly and easy to navigate. It's also a lot nicer with the new ice cream sandwich (android 4.0.4)
For all the people who think this is a terrible phone, it's free. If you want a technically fancy phone, pay for one!- Age : 18-24

I got this phone in June and it has been horrible. I brought it back within 2 days and best buy did nothing. I have had to bring it back 10 times since then. My overall review is that if you are used to smartphones, DO NOT buy it. If you just call, this is a perfect phone.- Age : 25-34

Me and my wife both purchased it right after it was released. They both worked fairly well at first. About 7 months in the battery and operating system on both our phones started to get worse and worse, Now my phone wont survive the 10ish hours Im out of the house every day without being charged. Thats with hardly any use, The operating system is always glitching and stops playing audio and I have to mess with it to get it to work. Needless to say I would have taken it back but the screen cracked about a month and a half into its meltdown. Bottom line, you will be better off with another phone. Two phones down and over a year till my next upgrade.... ugh.
Oh and the camera picture quality went way down hill from when we first got them. That one is hard to explain.... haha- Age : 18-24

Just annoying little things, like the volume button being positioned such that when you go to turn the phone off, your opposing fingers naturally hit the volume button (thereby aborting the turn-off). Phone turns itself back on when I put it in the holster, so the battery runs down much faster unless I noticed that it turned itself back on. I guess I'll get used to these shortcomings, but in this day and age, shouldn't this kind of stuff be avoided????- Age : 45-54

I bought this phone for my daughter who is 21. She doesn't really seem to have any complaints although occasionally she will call it a "stupid smartphone". lol This is her first smartphone and I think she just needs to learn to use it.- Age : 35-44

Overall, i generally prefer LG electronics of all types. This phone doezn't dissappoint either. The only change i would make would be a stronger battery.1 out of 2 found this review helpful.

I hate this phone only because of its battery, it does not last for more than 5 hours even if it's closed, and if I talk it will not last more than ONE HOUR. It's a terrible phone. Before you get it even if it's free my advice to get warranty that the battery can last.0 out of 2 found this review helpful.

New to the smart phone scene. It's been easy to learn and transfer my computer skills and tablet. And what I couldn't figure out on my own, Best Buy Geek staff is outstanding in their assistance. Still learning, more phone than I'll probably ever use!- Age : 45-54
