We ended up returning this one, but looking back it was probably as good as the one we ended up with. Some one cheap in construction, but did the job. Didn't like the warm electrical cord, but I guess that's normal for space heaters.

Small enough not to get in the way or have a tough time finding a spot for it and great to heat up a bedroom very fast. The remote control is a great feature. I really don't know what else can be said for a portable heater other than what I just said. I highly recommend purchasing this. No complaints at all.

It would have been perfect to be able to set it for 5:20 am when I get up so that our bathroom, where we use it, would be warm when we walked in. However, it does not take long to heat up the area so it is only a minor drawback. It has a timer so you can set it for a pre-determined amount of time. The remote does not work from a different room. You must be near the heater for it to work. It has been worth every penny these cold mornings here in Florida.

I bought this for a friend whose landlord forgets to provide heat. I was shocked about how fast it warmed up his room. Within a few minutes half the apartment was warm and comfortable as well. It was so great that i bought one more for myself just for days that are too cold .

It shuts off after 20 minutes of use and will not turn back on unless it is unplugged for 30 minutes or so. Even then it may not turn on. Maybe I got a bad unit based on the other positive reviews but I haven't had a good experience with this product.

Posted by: NS8 from Long Island, NY on 12/06/2009This heater appears well built, it looks really nice and modern and it's the quietest heater i've ever owned or heard. We have a few at my job and they're all pretty noisy.
You can't ask for much more in a heater. The oscillation is smooth and quiet and it does help to spread the heat quickly throughout the room. And the little remote is a nice idea if you're in bed and want it to be warm before getting out.
It would be nice if it had faster fan speeds. There is just low and high heat settings with no change in fan. No big deal because it does it's job of heating an area.

I shopped around and found this to be a good option...then i bought it...and it turned out better than i expected. I especially like the user-friendly controls located on top where they are easy to reach...and the two heat levels (1500 and 750) so you can avoid flipping the circuit breaker if you are using other devices on the same circuit. You won't be disappointed.
