We keep tis in the car, and every time when we put our one yr old in the car seat I used to give tis in his hand. He gets super excited and starts pressing the button, which makes it easier for us to put his seatbelts. In shoe it's our boys travel companion and a life saver for me, because he doesn't disturb me.

Great for young children

It has educational value -songs about animals, the alphabet, it has lively music with a beat to stimulate dance and movement, and it has soft music to quiet and calm. It was definitely one of his favorite birthday gifts.

Great item to teach the young learner

Posted by: broberson from Coral Springs, FL on 04/27/2013We purchased this item for my 2 1/2 year old. He immediately latched on the songs is now almost able to sing his ABCs from this toy. The songs and animation really get him going and he imitates them often. Because it is so small, he takes it with him everywhere and it's great for road trips. I'm not a fan of the black and white pixel screen but it's Leapfrog and they know how to build games for kids. Bottom line: it does what it is designed for...teaches kids in a fun and entertaining way through music.
