Posted by: CorrosionMan from Texas on 06/14/2013If you are using VESA wall mount then you will need to remove the base from the back of the monitor. the owners manual seems to only refer to a diagram which appears the base support just pulls out of the back of the monitor. This is inaccurate in the Lenovo owners manual I downloaded online from their site.
you will need to pop out a rectangular plastic plate at the base support location on the back of the monitor. remove four (4) philips head screws and the bracket with base support will come off. Replace the plastic cover by just snapping it back in.
tech support couldnt help with the above directions and the owners manual doesnt show this in their illustration or directions. Could have earned a 5 star but technical support lacked and owners manual was not very helpful.
Hope this helps someone else out. Really seems to be a great monitor for the price.

Nice screen, solid construction, no power brick

The 14 ms response time may be a bit slow for gamers, but I haven't noticed any lag. There are no physical buttons; instead it has a touch-control area on the lower-right bezel that can be a tad finicky, but not annoyingly so.
Unlike most current monitors, this Lenovo has a sturdy metal base that makes it very stable. Another plus (and again, unlike most current monitors) it has no power brick.
So far I am very happy with my purchase.

Bad Design and Features.

However, support is not existent. There are no numbers on Lenovo's site that deal with monitors. There is no numbers on the included warranty or user manual (well unless you are in China or Australia#.
My old monitor a Samsung and other competitors to this like a Dell IPS display have a setting in the OSD #On Screen Display# that allows you to stick to one input. This monitor does not. So if you plan on using more than one input and an input goes to sleep #like your computer) then it will automatically switch to another input. This does not work for me and technical support was rude an unaware of this recommended feature. Computer technical support that is, because the number on Lenovo site asked if you had a tablet, netbook, laptop, desktop but not display and nobody could give me a direct number to display support. I do not feel comfortable owning a product that has no support or known warranty mechanism.
