Except for the charger cable nuisance, it's a great "waterproof" case!0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

The same lip that seals the charge-port door so completely makes it impossible to maneuver a charge cord into it. You have to use an Apple brand charger and once I manhandle the cord in (putting great pressure on the hinge) I have to bend the cord at almost a 90 degree angle to get it over the lip. I have had this case on my phone for a little over 24 hours and the bending, wrestling, and scraping across the lip has sliced the protective cover of the cord off and the wires probably won't last much longer than that. I can't afford a new charging cord every week no matter how well it protects my phone. It is either that or take the case off every time I need to charge and eventually I will put enough pressure on the port cover that it will just snap off. Way too expensive for something that doesn't work at the most basic everyday level. (Scrolling and typing are really tough, too, because it keeps the touch screen from working properly, but that's a moot point if you can't charge it>)0 out of 2 found this review helpful.

I like the appearance of this case, and was pleased that it offered good protection. I like that I can take my phone to the beach without having to worry about water damage. I have noticed that the ringer is a bit muffled, but that is expected with a case that is waterproof and can be used under water up to 6 feet. This case requires that you use the adapter that comes with it to connect your head set, or headphones. I am worried that this will some day become lost.0 out of 1 found this review helpful.

After 5 months (never dropped once) the door cracked. Lifeproof customer service is a complete joke. DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT!! It's not worth the money or the headaches you will encounter trying to get a new one. I've NEVER had a worse experience with a company in my life. This review has nothing to do with Best Buy. I am making it my life's mission to badmouth life proof whenever I get the chance. Don't buy this product! You are better off buying an otter box.2 out of 7 found this review helpful.

When you spend approx $80 for a case to protect your phone that you spent a few hundred dollars on, you expect it to do just that...protect your phone! Less than 6 months after purchasing, the rubber that encircles the outside of the phone has completely torn off in one corner and is peeling elsewhere. Also, the plastic piece that clasps over the docking port snapped in half. I should also point out that, while I use my phone a lot, I am not terribly hard on it. Yes, I've dropped it a few times, but not any more than anyone else does and not from a tremendous height.
I haven't used this in water (and obviously wouldn't now, since the bottom has broken off). And when the clasp broke, it wasn't following a drop. I took my phone out of my pocket and at the bottom of my pocket was the piece of plastic from my broken case. Just chilling there. Like it's normal for an $80 case to just break.
After I bought the case, I followed the instructions on the website to register it in order to validate the warranty (which included reading about use of the case and taking a test). After it broke, I contacted customer service and requested a replacement at the minimum. when I finally got a response, they had me go through way too many hoops and ladders than was necessary....just to find out that I not only needed the original receipt (who keeps that??) but also couldn't request replacement after 90 days. Seriously?? If your product is so fabulous and wonderful, why would you not walk through fire to satisfy what must OBVIOUSLY be a fluke??
I bought this case to replace an otterbox. I thought it was more aesthetically pleasing than the otterbox but now I don't care. I can upgrade to an iPhone 5 in a few days and I will DEFINITELY be getting an otterbox to protect my phone!0 out of 1 found this review helpful.
