Much against their better judgment, Mr. and Mrs. McGuire (Robert Carradine, Hallie Todd) agree to let Lizzie (Hilary Duff) babysit for brother Matt (Jake Thomas). Big mistake! Throughout the evening, Lizzie and her friends Miranda (Lalaine) and Gordo (Adam Lamberg) are subjected to a campaign of terror conducted by Matt, who knows that if he gets into big trouble, so will Lizzie. Lizzie (Hilary Duff) has signed up for a CPR class in hopes of being teamed with her dream boy, Ethan (Clayton Snyder). It doesn't quite work out that way, but fortunately, Lizzie's CPR training comes in handy when she saves a man from choking to death. This noble act earns Lizzie an interview on a local TV show, and widespread fame. There's only one catch: Lizzie saved the man at a movie theater, during a screening of "Vesuvius: The Eruption" -- an R-rated film that her parents had refused to allow her to see. Lizzie McGuire: Between a Rock and a Bra Place
Lizzie (Hilary Duff) is a bit hesitant to go on a public shopping excursion to purchase her very first bra. The situation worsens when, while at the mall, Lizzie ends up in the same store with her English teacher, Mr. Coppersmith (Ty Upshaw). Elsewhere in the same mall, Lizzie's brother, Matt (Jake Thomas), sets out to produce an amateur martial arts movie.
