Great product, goes where other mice can't

Posted by: from All Over on 05/12/2013Overall this is a great product, as I mentioned in the Pro's, working with the unifying receiver is wonderful. The Darkfield laser makes this mouse work on a lot of surfaces that other mice wouldn't like glass conference room tables or booths, eliminating the need to use your notepad or carry around a mouse pad. There is a slider on the bottom of the mouse that protects the optics as well as controls the on-off switch while you are traveling, and the travel pouch that comes with it adds further protection to the rest of the mouse.

    Best Mouse

Posted by: from Sugar Land, TX on 05/07/2013Anyone who doesn't give this mouse at least 4 stars is working for another mouse manufacturer. It is reasonably priced for a high quality product. I have carried this mouse around the world, used it on many laptops and PCs and dropped it more than a few times. I have not found a surface it doesn't handle. Squirrelly? No way. You just plug in the small USB receiver and turn it on. It just works. I have already recommended this mouse to many friends and coworkers.

    cool mouse

Posted by: from Los Angeles, CA on 04/27/2013It really is an anywhere mouse. I used it on plastic bags, glass, waterbottle caps, and even mesh pouches and it was still working good. This is my 3rd day with the mouse and it really fits on my hand. What I don't like about the mouse is that it requires 2 batteries, but 2 batteries come in the box, and so does a mouse pouch.

    Love It!!

Posted by: from Arlington, TX on 04/14/2013I love this mouse, or mice, because I actually own 3 and I've just ordered a forth because it looks like they stopped making it. I love he fast scroll. I love the programmable buttons. It works great on every surface I've tried, the arm rest in my car, every different sort of counter top like marble or granite or tile etc. It fits in my hand very nicely and it comfortable.

    My favorite mouse

Posted by: from on 04/14/2013I really like this mouse. I use it with a laptop and it works great. I use it on the flat part of the laptop next to the touchpad, the sheets of my bed, a book, a table, the couch, it works on all these. It doesn't like grooves, deep scratches, fabric wrinkles, or dirt. I've been using this mouse, or previous versions of it, for 4 years. The middle button is a now a necessity, along with the side-tilting wheel. The battery life in this model seems shorter than with previous ones, but I still get ~3 months of 10 hours/day usage out of 2 AA batteries and I never turn the mouse off.

    About to buy my fourth
    4
Posted by: from Bossier City La on 03/04/2013A little over priced. I use all of the buttons and like that they are programmable for different programs. I like it enough that I will invest in a new one. I bought the first and the last two were warranty. (because of the left mouse button) I do use mine more than most people would (50 to 60 hours a week mostly with AutoCAD) I did see one other review that mentioned the problem with the left button. The programmable buttons are nice and I set them up differently for AutoCAD and Word... The free wheel function is very useful but the Click-to-click scrolling is what I use most of the time. I bought this because I needed to use it on a glass table and it is nice that it works on any surface. The middle button took a little getting used to. Over all a nice comfortable mouse. I have recommended this to friends with a warning about the left button.

OK mouse, a bit squirrelly and overpriced
    3
Posted by: from Nashua, NH on 03/03/2013Overall this is an OK mouse, but I think it's overpriced for the value of the mouse. The Darkfield sensor does work better than other sensors in Logitech mice and ever-so-slightly more than Microsoft's Bluetrack on certain surfaces, but does get squirrelly and tracks poorly about 30% of the time. The forward and back buttons don't work right about 30% of the time as well, which is irksome for this expensive of a mouse. I find that the scroll wheel hasn't been improved much over older Logitech mouse and is still much more imprecise than Microsoft mice, with annoying bounce to it as you roll it to a stop, whether in smooth or click modes. On the plus side, I do like the customization abilities of the mouse and the software for this is easy to use and works with a Mac well. I would recommend this for Mac users, but only barely, seeing how many of Microsoft's notebook mice that offer forward and back navigation functions through buttons are no longer compatible with Mountain Lion.

    works great

Posted by: from Pittsburgh, PA on 01/28/2013This mouse works well. It truly works on any surface and I like the small form factor on the usb adapter. I sometimes have trouble selecting from drop down menus, but I use this mouse 8-10 hours a day on a regular basis and it has performed well.

    Great design, cheap buttons
    1
Posted by: from Omaha, NE on 01/27/2013Left buttons starts to fail after a few months of use (it's already second mouse, not going to buy them anymore) .It occasionally double-clicking when I click only once, very annoying. I opened my first mouse, removed microswitch for the left button to open it - inside of it was a lot of copper dust and I guess that's a reason for double clicking.
