We're total technology idiots but this universal remote is easy to use and almost problem free. When there is a problem (such as the sound system speakers or TV not coming on) the help button walks you through simple steps to identify the problem and then automatically corrects it for you. We were able to replace 5 remotes with one remote. And you can't mess it up by pressing the wrong button-- as I said we're technology idiots so we've done our best to mess it up! Can't comment on setting it up as we used the Geek Squad to do this.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Why did they get rid of the Harmony One?2

I owned three Harmony Ones until recently when my wife put her knee through the display. BB had this on sale and it seemed like the evolution of the One so I gave it a shot. Hands down if the One were still available this would have gone back. If you look at the design, you see the frequently used buttons like play pause etc are at the top, above the touchscreen. I didn't think this would be a problem, but it is when you do something button intensive like watching a DVR. You can do those commands with the touchscreen but it is slow to react. The other issue is they changed the software you use to program the remote and made it less customizable. BOTTOM LINE-skip this remote unless somebody broke your other one. Logitech if you read these, PLEASE bring back the One.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Great remote, but touch a little too touchy!4

Love Harmony remotes. I have had 3 and bought one for my parents! They are great and the activity focus is perfect for folks that don't what to remember what input everything has to be on to watch TV/movie...
Only downside was the touch screen. Using buttons above to play/pause/etc often results in unintended channel change (screen displays favorite channels for quick change).
I decided to return the remote and go to the 900 with touch screen at the top of the remote.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

If you have children's hands with little fingers you can use this remote very easily. Returned it because I couldn't change channels easily, use the guide easily, or toggle between options very well.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Setup was not to bad took about 30 min but I did have all my devices information like name and model numbers before I started the setup. This remote is really customizable and feels sturdy in your hand. It is a bit pricey but for me it's worth the money as it replaces 4 remotes that I used daily. It's nice now to have one remote and just touch an activity and all the right components turn on and also control all your components with this same remote. I was hesitant at first but pulled the trigger anyway and now I'm glad I did very happy with my new Logitech Remote.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

I recently set up my home theatre which included a Pioneer reciever, Samsung LED Smart TV, Samsung Blu-Ray player, Wii U, And Blue tooth reciever... So as u could imagine, this involved using like 4 different remotes!
The online setup for the Harmony touch was extremely easy and user friendly.. I wasn't sure if the remote would also control my smart TV (smart hub) features but it absolutely does with ease! Another unexpected feature that I love is the ability to edit the titles of "activities"... I just touch "Watch Comcast" and it sets up my cable, TV, and rcver.... Or I can select Watch Smart TV and it knows the difference.
I had one small problem after initial setup where I would push "Watch Blu-Ray" and it would not switch the reciever to the correct input. I would have to use the help feature which would then automatically correct it. I wound up going online, deleting, and re configuring the activity which solved the problem!
This is one of my best purchases in the last 5 years and well worth the money. I would absolutely recommend it to others.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

I have had the remote now for about a month and have enjoyed it very much. As others have said it is pricy but it has worked very well for me. Set up was easy and the screen controls are helpful. I use this to control my TV, cable box, blue ray player, apple tv, and Xbox. When one of the components does not switch the help button fixes the problem quickly. I have seen some criticism of the awkward placement of the play, stop & pause buttons. I agree but it is only a minor issue and I am use to the buttons now. Bottom line - great remote. Glad I bought it.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Pricey but Good and Fun5

I love this remote. It is fun and cool to use. The drawbacks are the price (I had some reward zone credit and gift cards that brought the price down for me) and the battery life can get pretty bad with a lot of use of the touchscreen but this is a great remote.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

While the Touch is a bit pricey, I found it pretty easy to set up; it actually runs all of my peripherals; and the touch screen is legible and easy to navigate.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.
