I wanted something that had a grip to it. I found this one and even though it looked a little childish, it is awesome for photo taking. Easy grip sides and it it's funny, it actually feels lighter than when the case isn't on. Slides easy under the arm to hold firmly while you're doing other stuff, will actually bounce if dropped from a short distance. The only thing you'll need is a good screen protector to keep from scratching the glass.

Saw this item in Best Buy when i decided to also put a screen protector on it. I took the other case/cover off. This green shell case has been the best purchase i could have made. It is very easy for him to hold onto, it is very cushiony for those times of bumps (have to admit i dropped it once, with no ill effects), and drops. With the screen protector on it, this is an ideal item to put on your ipad. i would not hesitate to buy another one for any other ipads i buy. It is also his favorite color!

I have an intelligent 2 year old with an ipad and well sometimes it slips from her hands. This protector helps with gripping and if it does happen to slip out of her hands it does no damage to the ipad and does a little bounce on the ground and is still in great condition. Worth getting this one instead of the way expensive protector.
