    Great show to get into

Posted by: from Idaho on 01/14/2011I've read a lot of great things about the show so I thought I would give it a try. Bought all first 3 seasons at a great price! The first season was very entertaining, probably not as dramatic as your typical teenage vampire drama or HBO series shows, but it was very historically correct which I loved about it. Very dry on the humor side but still caught my attention, definitely worth a buy when you spot it on sale as I did.

Posted by: from Saaint Louis, Missouri on 07/20/2008I didn't expect much from the show, but it does after all have my uncle in it, so I gave it a shot. It turned out that this is one of my favorite shows on TV right now. I can"t wait for season two, which starts on July 27!

    Mad about Mad Men

Posted by: from Beverly Hills, CA on 07/15/2008I saw the first episode of Mad Men when it originally aired and wasn't that impressed. It looked pretty and had a decent cast but it just felt a little flat. I kept hearing good things about the show, though, and finally decided to give it another shot. I just finished watching season one and am now a huge fan. This show is unique and has incredible, layered characters that grow on you each episode. I do still think that the first few episodes move a little slowly but it's worth hanging in there. The story pace quickly picks up and you will soon find yourself deeply in love with these Mad Men and the equally Mad Women who are their counterparts. Now I can't wait for the second season!
