Posted by: wannabegolfer from phoenix on 04/12/2013hard to understand voice commands at first but got used to them. Does't choose the optimum route but gets you there. Was working fine for the first few weeks but froze up during a trip from phoenix to denver co.Would not work after that.

Good value for the money

But, even after map update have noticed some minor inaccuracies of the streets. Hopefully with next map update, they will be corrected as well. Good value for the money.

2nd one, failed after computer update

Posted by: SarasotaSnowbird from Sarasota, FL on 03/08/2013This replaced one I bought earlier, once updated at the computer, it froze whenever I tried to look for a point of interest.....map after updating was not accurate, missed local street had been extended over 2 years earlier! Too bad because I liked user interface. Both machines had same problems after updating, and became extremely sluggish in looking for addresses......neither could find Tampa Airport!

Posted by: mindig from cleveland, ohio on 01/22/2013the first one took a very long time to power up (5+ minutes) then you can hear the voice but the screen is black. returned that one. the second one made loud scary static-ky noises intermittently. It seemed like a good piece, I might give it a 3rd try!
