Posted by: Okiebob1 from Tulsa, OK on 05/19/2013Everything about this GPS is very simple to use and the tones and voices are clear and comfortable to listen to. The vehicle bracket works on smooth dashes only while my Jeep has a pebble grain finish which forces you to use only on the windshield.

Posted by: Sandandsno from VA on 04/27/2013I purchased this Magellan GPS while on vacation when my old road mate finally stopped working. Yes, I know I can use my phone but I prefer the external GPS. I typically research and try to find the best option for me but didn't have time since I was in a new state and had 10 days of driving ahead of me. Into Best Buy I went and chose this new road mate as a replacement...if I could, I would return it!
It takes forever to calculate directions, it takes a very long time to find satellites and the spoken directions have gotten me lost!
Magellan needs to update this road mate!

This has gotten us to everywhere we go, the first time. My only complaint is the software manager you use to update from the computer. It seems to get confused on when you need to update.
