Posted by: dwbphotos from Wesley Chapel, FL on 05/03/2013I think this tripod is a good value providing a reasonably light and steady platform for my DSLR. I don't use the case when I am moving from one location to another because it isn't easy to get the tripod in and out.

Posted by: Rebecky89 from Savannah, GA on 04/12/2013This is a very nice, durable Tripod, as I thought it would be because of the name brand. It is easy to assemble, easy to use and really durable. It came with a nice carrying bag, which makes it easy to carry around. Great value for the money. I am very satisfied with it!

Good, low-end Manfrotto

Posted by: Rosebulb from Philadelphia, PA on 11/02/2012If you're looking for a good quality tripod but don't want to spend in the hundreds of dollars, this is a good choice. Does what it's supposed to do. Holds my DSLR and 18-55 mm and 55-200 mm lenses just fine. I do wish the tripod was compact enough to fit in my back pack, which it isn't. Comes with a nice looking carry bag but not that strong, as I see small holes beginning to form.

Sturdy tripod for the money

Posted by: TulsaSooner from Tulsa, OK on 07/11/2012I've only used this tripod for the past couple of weeks and I have been really impressed so far. I have been looking for a nice travel tripod. Last year I purchased a higher end Giottos which only lasted me a month or two when one of the legs unexplainably just came apart. I returned it fortunately for a refund. Since then I've been looking for something putting off the purchase until I could find the right combination of price and size. I purchased this Manfrotto in a pinch and have come to really like it. Very durable. Very sturdy and the price was much less than what I was expecting to pay for my final purchase. The flip levers that unlock the leg segments are stiff (I'm sure over time they will loosen up) and a bit cumbersome to operate (compared to the twist lock mechanisms on other models).

Posted by: Wayneo from Memphis on 05/16/2012Works great for video as well as still cameras, smooth panning. The ability to easily go from vertical to horizontal is a plus. Holds tight in position also.

Stable Tripod for the money

Posted by: eskudo12791 from Pensacola, FL on 04/04/2012Do a fair amount of urbex photography and general outdoor work. MY previous tripod was starting to tilt due to my camera weighing too much. With this tripod the camera is much more stable and more reliable. All in all for the price bracket its good equipment.
