The connector should have come with wire connectors. I choose to soider mine too ensure good connections.

It was the same as what was already in my car, so I just cut & spliced the wires from my car to the wires from the stereo. The only way you might need this is maybe if you've never had an aftermarket stereo put in your car, or if you've had many different stereos and the wires are too short to splice. I'm just putting this out there for anyone attempting to install a stereo for the first time like me, you may not need everything they say you will, so open things carefully and save your receipt!
