After we filed our tax return, we went through some old business files and decided to shred to protect our security only to find that the shredder we bought only last year wouldn't even shred 3 times in a row without jamming! It was also from Best Buy (the brand is Initt). I love Best Buy though. I don't think it's their fault that the shredder broke. We have been shredding a lot for 4 months straight. I even have the kids helping, so I know this shredder has been through a lot of cramming and overloading with paper!!! It always runs perfectly. We go at it for a long time in one sitting, and it has never overheated or jammed. Of course I love it because it's so stylish and small unlike the others! It's great for small business use!

The appearance of this shredder is certainly appealing but don't be fooled by it. I am not sure if I were unlucky to buy a lemon of this product but it does not deliver what it advertises, except that it is a fast and quite machine - I will give you that with the comment, it is still inefficient. The small bin counteracts the speed of the machine because you need to empty it as soon as one to two sets of six sheets of paper are shredded. Yes, it would shred 6 sheet of paper comfortably but the shreds are just long wide strips that are accommodating size 16 font so the bin fills out quickly. Please don't shred any of your precious documents with personal info or credit cards because three year old child would easily put these shreds together in minutes. The specification states security level 3, I must disagree with that. At least the product I have has no security, at all as if it were missing one more shredding role to make this shredder a cross-cut shredder. Also, the pieces of shreds get stuck at the back of the bin, and behind the power cord which is open in the bottom part of the shredder, and I don't see this safe. This takes more of customer's time to clean up. It could be a better shredder with a greater bin and an extra metal (not plastic) roll to make this shredder secure & efficient. These improvements in design of this shredder by manufacturer would make it still spacious and attractive shredder. I hope the manufacturer is working on an improved design. It seems to be a new brand that I have not seen before so I hope the customer's experience would be helpful for an improvement in design. I have to return this shredder, and replace it with the one that will satisfy efficiency, and security. After all that is why we shred. I don't have the fire place to burn personal documents.

Shreds of paper fall outside of the bin and when removing the bin for emptying there is shredded paper that has collected at the back of unit (outside of the bin) that must be removed manually. Paper remains in jaws of shredder and must be pulled out manually. However price is reasonable and the unit does shred up to 8 folds of paper at one time as well as credit cards.

Great small, space saving shredder, however, the bos depositing the shreded material is too small. Otherwise, it performs very well.

I had the shredder for about two weeks now and it has not jammed at all. It is very easy to use and reliable. It is worth the price. It works extremely well and looks good where ever you put it. Its better than the last shredder that i paid $84 for and it jammed every use with only one sheet of paper. My words to you is buy it and enjoy it.
