Horrible for Bose Lifestyle systems1

I bought this for my entertainment center to provide power for my Bose Lifestyle 35 stereo system, LED Smart TV, Bluray player, Verizon FiOS DVR, Apple TV, and one or two other devices. The problem is that the power strip shuts off power to devices that it deems are not in use, including the Bose stereo system which interfaces with everything else. When I try to use the Bose remote to power on the TV and stereo, nothing happens because the Bose receiver doesn't have power. I'd have to walk up to the receiver and press the power button on the console.
I called Bose technical support. They told me this problem is very common with energy saver power strips. So, I took this very expensive Monster power strip back to Best Buy and reverted back to a "normal" surge-protected power strip. Everything is back to normal.
This Monster energy saver power strip is a disaster for a Bose Lifestyle stereo system. Don't waste your time.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.
