I love the concept of reducing my energy use, but it seems as though it takes awhile for the tv and acc to start while hooked up to this surge protector, and when using a universal remote the macro keys do not always seem to work correctly.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

After a bit of research and reading other reviews, I chose the Monster Green Power surge protector for its fairly compact size, protection rating and have not been disappointed. I am using it for cable and home theater components. I liked the option of using reduced power when full was not needed. I would have liked to have a little longer cord but with some arrangement adjustments it all works quite well and I have purchased another for a gift.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

This is a very nice surge protector. It is mid range in price, but worth it. I use it for my big screen tv, and am confident that it will do the job. Sales Rep at Best Buy explained all the features and requirements, and helped me select the right unit for my set up. All connection points are clearly marked.
