I have several other Monster products in my household so I made sure to add a new power / surge protector strip when I purchased my new Panasonic plasma HDTV. This Monster power cord also provides "clean power" to my TV and stereo components. I run the cable / Direct TV satellite cable thru the Monster power strip and have not had any programs drop off (as I was warned might happen by one of Best Buy's salesmen). Emits a warm green light under my TV stand that tells me it is working as designed.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

really works. my house got struck by lightning and it absorbed the strike. it made a loud hum and shot a bright white light through the room and the box glowed for like three days. the best.. fantasti..awesome0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

In essence, its great, i got it hooked up to my Sony XBR, PS3, cable box and DVR harddrive. Annoyed that the green option automatically turns off the DVR HD when the TV is turned off. The Lights on the front panel are so bright (2 greens and a blue) that are terribly distracting. I covered them with electric tape and it helped.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

After 13 years my old surge protector from Monster bit the dust. The storm was a little too much and even though I have to replace it I dont know what I would have to replace if I didnt have my home theater protected by a Monster surge protector. I spent more than I would have liked but the technology this unit has was well worth it once it was explained to me. I can honestly see and hear a difference in my television and audio system. I learned my lesson cutting corners years ago and will be a Monster customer for life.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.
