Customers are impressed with the 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker's ease of use, consistently brewing high-quality coffee. Many appreciate the affordable price point and convenient features like the timer and automatic shutoff, ensuring a fresh cup is ready when needed. The programmable options and simple cleaning process are frequently highlighted as positive aspects.
Seems to be a good coffee maker. Easy to use. I don't program it, I even unplug it when not in use. I set it up to brew with coffee and water, leave it unplugged and in the morning plug it in and turn it on. When done brewing , unplug it. Works great and I eliminate any electric mishaps. I do this with almost all my small appliances. Only problem, the basket is hard to remove because the hole into which the pin on the basket goes, it to small. Others have stated this. Maybe a little veg oil or a another suggested, drill out the hole, just a little. I can be very annoying, but seems an easy fix, hence the 4 stars.

This is a nice coffee maker. It is very easy to use and the timer and ability to pour a cup when it is still brewing is very convenient. The one problem I have with it is you can not remove the filter holder from the machine. It makes a big mess when you have to remove the filter and wet coffee grounds. I could remove the holder from the machine I had before and take the whole mess straight to the trash and not dribble water everywhere. It was obviously not designed by some one that has to use it.

Replaced my 9 year old 12 cup Mr Coffee non-programmable due to a half price sale at BestBuy. The swing out coffee filter holder is easy to access, most models load from the top now a days. This basket locks in place, my past model opened by accident more then once. This filter holder needs a larger top hole to remove it quicker. I enlarged mine as another reviewer suggested, and corrected that design mistake before enjoying my first cup. That cup, with added cold milk and sugar was too hot to drink right away. The clock is needed for timer usage but a joke otherwise, too small and not lite as reported by others. Is 900 watts so 2 real size coffee cups, 6 per water gage, takes 6 minutes. My old Mr Coffee was 1100 watts, had thicker plastic, and ran quicker. Ordered Friday, home delivered Tuesday, thanks UPS ! I would suggest buying this over the one switch, non programmable model. I might use that timer some day. And the one button model has a top load coffee filter basket. KCinLA
