Good but was hoping for great

Posted by: spindr from on 05/18/2013Needed to replace a failing router and was told that this Netgear N900 would be noticeably faster and would have much greater range than my older Linksys router. While the range is somewhat larger I still have very low signal strength just outside my house. The speed is about par with what I had before. On the plus side, however, it was very easy to install and has not cut out on me since installation.

Great features and great range.
Easy to setup.
Wanted to test range out of the box but it would not transmit signal until it was hooked up to a computer.
