Works just fine in an apartment

The only reason I got this is because I bought an iPad WIFI only and didn't want to have to pay the cable company even more money...so I asked my tech savvy friends and they explained what I should do. I am not a heavy user, just go to G+ hangouts and play games from time to time and this works just fine for me. But my cable company called, suggesting that there was "trouble" with the service..so I think they detect that I have installed this. <shrug>
