I got my wifi router SSID not to broadcast for extra security. Printed instruction details is informative. Read thoroughly. Extender setup genie is easy to follow. I like the option where you could manually enter your stealthy wifi router SSID into extender wifi router to connect together and use this same SSID (remove _EXT)as your wifi router extender SSID. Use same password and security encryption as your wifi router. You can also set your extender wifi router SSID not to broadcast for extra security. Just enter manually into your device the SSID and password of your router's(wifi and extender). By doing this, you don't have to switch between two different SSID in your device when you move out of range of router signal on one router to another.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

This extender set up and connected within minutes, as promised. It transmitted a good signal and improved my connections at the end of the house furthest from my router. I have had a few disconnects that I could not explain. I was able to re-connect it eventually and it is working smoothly again. Hard to say if the cause was the extender itself, the router, or something else. Overall, I have to say I'm satisfied with this product and can recommend it.- I use it in... : Small home
