    Love it!

Posted by: from on 05/13/2013I absolutely love this watch. I bought it to help train for summer obstacle courses and pt tests. I think it's a lot more accurate than other gps workout programs I've used in the past. I bought this one because I run outside more and didn't need the footpod. At times it does take a bit to find satellites but mines not 5 or more mins like other reviews say. It only takes awhile when you're in an area that TomTom isn't familiar with or an area that's not heavily populated by runners. It was a tough decision between this, the FitBit, and the jawbone, but ultimately I'm happy I chose this. The FitBit and Jawbone don't seem like they're specifically for runners like this watch is. When you hook it up to the computer it shows your character running and the speed. I love how if you slowed down the trail turns colors. This helps me know where I need to push harder next time I run on the same trail.

    Great for frequent runners

Posted by: from South Carolina on 05/13/2013I wake up to the watch asking me "Want to go for a run?". What a great watch. Very long battery life, internal battery charges through USB, which happens to be built into the watch band. If you run often, and then log your runs, holding a charge should be a non-issue. Also it's important to upload (and make an account) to the Nike+ website to get stats on your runs and also to update the watch. The watch failed to locate the GPS during one run, but after updating it (simply by plugging it into my computer) it worked perfectly. Some say it's a huge price for something you can use on your phone, but I personally hate bringing my phone on a run, and the price was more motivation to get as much use out of it that I could. Not to mention, it's actually just a pretty nice watch.

Only good for one thing. Running.

Posted by: from Anaheim on 05/10/2013All its is good for is running. You can use it for hiking but there is no read out for elevation. The website is only for runners. As for Cycling it shows speed and all the good stuff but it just messes up your runs stats online since there is no way to separate it. Also after 30mph it's disqualified it as a run. I went with a garmin after a week with the "sport" watch since garmin is geared for more multi sport applications.

    Not good

Posted by: from WV on 04/26/2013The one I got took for ever to link up. While my brothers only took a few minutes mine took upward of 5 min. During the Gristmill Grinder trail race it locked up at 10 miles, I had to restart it and again, it took a really long time to link to the satellites. This particular watch or these exclusive models may be faulty, who knows. After the race it was exchanged it for the blue model and I have had no problems at all. I will write a review for the blue after I have had more time with it.

    Awesome GPS Watch
    5
Posted by: from Fort Walton Beach, FL on 04/26/2013This is an awesome watch. I was using my smartphone for forever, but it was having issues with GPS connectivity. I bought this watch and used it the next day. It had zero issues connecting and the interface actually does a better job tracking then the phone. The biggest issue I have is that you can't change activities. it's always set to run. However, I do not have the pod that syncs with the watch. So I don't know what will happen if I ever do decide to get one. Also, I dropped it once and now one of the buttons doesn't work, but I am in the process of using Best Buy's replacement program. So hopefully the issue will be resolved soon.
