Posted by: squigglesmama from Centerville, Oh on 05/21/2013I love this lens! I shoot a lot of action packed events such as lacrosse, baseball, competitve marching band, winter indoor percussion, and winter guard. I can still get great shots indoors with the lens at 300mm and not using flash.
I would (and already have) recommended this lens!

This Lens is Insane!

Even if I can't get the super zoom across a stadium, I can crop the picture without loosing quality @ 13 Mega Pixel. Easy to change, Lens steadying devise works GREAT! The only negative would be you should buy at least a UV filter before you even get this out of the box to protect it, and your camera's image sensor (Think of it as sunscreen for your camera)

For the price of this Nikon lens 55-300mm the quality of the images are just beautiful. It is worth every penny and I think you will really enjoy this new tool in your camera bag.
