Posted by: from Cygnet, OH on 05/12/2013I need an affordable hobby that gets me out of the house and photography fits that bill and the D3200 makes it affordable. The pictures I have taken look great!

The quality of the pictures are amazing!

Posted by: from Peabody, MA on 05/12/2013My pictures come out crystal clear on the automatic focus setting. It's not really your "point and shoot" camera. In other words you need to do your homework to be able to use this camera to its potential.

Posted by: from Bend, OR on 05/10/2013I initially bought the D-3200 but exchanged it for the D-3100 the next day because the D-3100 was less expensive. I LOVE this camera and the Nikkor 18-55 lens. It takes beautiful, sharp photos and is fairly easy to use. I am one who does NOT like to read instruction booklets. Programming this camera was reasonably intuitive on the camera's screen. I am very happy with my purchase and received very good service at Best Buy! Jack Bend, OR

Posted by: from Noblesville, Indiana on 05/10/2013Great photo quality. Debated on 3200 v. 3100. Figured the extra $100 was worth it in the long run. This is my first DSLR camera and I think it may be a little too advanced for me but I plan on having my photographer friend teach me all the functions. Great camera for the price!

Excellent Camera for Beginner or Novice

Posted by: from Jackson, TN on 05/06/2013If you will be using this camera a lot always bring a spare battery. I have found the extra battery is very needed since I have active kids & use my camera a lot. My kids love sports and rarely sit still. I never miss a shot!!! We even have excellent pictures of the pets in action with the kids now. It takes professional grade photos in all lighting. It was extremely easy to adapt to from my Kodak. It had some of the same features but it also had a lot more features. Overall, I love it & I am extremely glad we bought it!!!

Great camera and easy to us!

Posted by: from Wichita, KS on 05/06/2013We bought this camera to use for family photos. The pictures we took rivaled a professional. For different types of shots, instead of reading a manual, you can select the "guide" button and choose the type of shot you want. The camera will then guide you on how to do it. Very happy with this purchase.
