Posted by: DedicatedPhotographer from Atlanta, GA on 05/03/2013I've tried saving money on non-descript battery replacements. They either don't hold as good a charge, or they're dead in 6 months. Stick with Nikon if you use Nikon equipment. It might keep you out of a predicament.

Same as factory issued battery

So far I have had to use it twice when recording long videos. The quality of this battery is great just wish it was a little cheaper, but it is the factory brand battery.

NIkon makes great products

I bought this to have a second battery available. It is what I expected. From past experiences I will definitely continue to buy Nikon brand products for my camera and not third party.

Posted by: Rach024 from Lansdale, PA on 01/29/2013If you are shooting for more than 2 hrs at a time turn the camera off inbetween or buy a back up. It lasts about 12-15 hrs when left on all the time. Charged quick in about 2 hrs.
