Wii great game system for a seven year old

Posted by: from rockville centre, ny on 05/20/2013Wii is inexpensive and a great game system for young kids. They are constantly moving and learning how to play sports. It's great exercise so I don't mind when my seven year old daughter plays with it.

Fun system for the family

Posted by: from Winston-Salem, NC on 05/18/2013I got a Wii so I could play old SNES and N64 games that were either far too old to buy online, or I just didn't want to hook up my old systems. It streamlines 5 systems into 1. Nintendo, SNES, N64, Gamecube, and Wii.

Nintendo products are always reliable, for me anyw

Posted by: from Maine on 05/18/2013It's a great gaming system for those who are not hardcore gamers. The only complaint that I have had since the Wii came out is not enough adult games. It appears Nintendo is catering to the very young crowd, the majority of the games are for young children.

Keeps the kids ACTIVE!!!

Posted by: from Chicago, IL on 05/17/2013My kids love the Wii system. I love it for them because there is always some type of physical activity involved in the game play. I'm disappointed in several aspects though. Connecting to a wireless router is next to impossible for apps like Netflix. The unit DOES NOT play DVD's or Blu-Ray. Worst of all is the system resolution, the maximum in 480i unless you buy an expensive off-brand adapter. I haven't purchased one of these, most of the reviews are sketchy at best and they cost nearly half the cost of the system itself. I also have a PS3 and although it's a more "pure" gaming system, it is WAY more simple to connect to a wireless system, and is also a Blu-Ray player. Great system for ages 4-8, but after that I would switch systems. Wii-U seems like a reach, but I'm sure I'll try it out....
