An excellent phone for those who like smaller size5

Personally I love this phone, considering the affordability, portability and accessiblity feature for a simple minded, yet continually mobile and technically necessary working phone for professional reasons. The screen size is just right for documents, yet it is probably not as versatile and smart as some other "smartphones," it does hold up as as a great little phone. Nokia can do a great job for some professionals on the move, if battery life is improved and even offer a better portable phone with a larger screen size in order to compete with Samsung and HTC. Personally I would not watch entire movies on this sized screen. Hope this helps the professional who is mobile yet seeks simplicity.- Age : 45-54

I listened to a voice mail and when I pulled the phone away from my ear to end the call, the screen went all gray with a splatter of color. The phone wouldn't turn off and I couldn't do anything with it. I had to return it to the Best Buy store and have it returned for service. Not happy that a phone less than a month old has to be returned for service and there was nothing done to it - not dropped, not banged around, not dropped in water - nothing.- Age : 45-54

I got this phone hoping to monitor my securities trading on the go. It simply is not capable of doing it. An Iphone or Android would do it. By the time I tried everything and communicated with all of the different support organizations to try to make the phone work, the 14 day exchange period had expired. It took me 17 days. So I am now stuck with this phone on which I can't set up my email, can't monitor my securities, and has very limited functionality for two years. I would recommend you avoid this phone.0 out of 5 found this review helpful.

This is my first windows phone and I am beyond unimpressed. Not only does the GPS system have the inability to find most places but it also leads you in the wrong direction half of the time. Best buy does not even sell cases or screen protectors for the extremely high priced phone which they should because the screen breaks itself. The Nokia Warranty is also useless and the company treats you horribly. Normally I am very impressed by Best Buys products but I'm dumbfounded to find out that the company does not warranty the digitizer or sell cases for the phone at its retail outlets.- Age : 18-24

Recently upgraded from my LG vortex and the difference is like night and day. This phone is simple to use and has most of the bells and whistles of a high end smart phone and was free. I always had problems with android phones. Not once have I had a problem with my Lumia. Its fast has a nice screen and the live tiles are great. There aren't as many apps for it as android or iPhones but you can find substitute apps if you can't find a popular one. Love Nokia GPS easy and fast. Data sense is great to keep track and budget your data usage. And Bing has come a long way. I use to love google and their apps but this phone has changed my mind. This phone has made me a converter to windows phones6 out of 6 found this review helpful.

I had a Windows 7.5 phone previously so I was anxious to have the new Windows 8. The Nokia 822 has more options than the other Windows phones for less price. The screen is very nice and I like that you can listen to free music. I did have problems with the first one that I had gotten with freezing, not powering on and call quality. I exchanged it with a new 822 and this one has been great. Not one single problem. After searching online I found other people were having the same issues and some had returned theirs for a new one and their problems were solved so there must have been a batch of phones early on that were not right. My husband got an iPhone 5 instead of the Nokia because it was a smaller phone. He likes the Windows 8 phone much better because of being so easy to use but wanted a smaller size phone. The size is bigger but I don't have a problem with that. The iPhone 5 is much harder to use and takes a lot of getting used to. I have now gotten the charging back cover with the wireless charging plate.- Age : 45-54
