I plug all my children's sports events and my work meetings into my calendar and I get reminders of what is coming up. The desktop is designed to fit my needs and the tiles are easy to add and remove. The picture and video quality is great. My phone has become my right hand. I would reccommend this phone to any busy mom trying to organize work and family.

    Pictures are not crisp and clear

I don't use the phone to take pictures so I'm not upset at the quality of the pictures. I am very disappointed that their is no app yet to correct the SMS problem with signatures. I've consulted the Microsoft website and Verizon's techs. I noticed on blogs that this is a common complaint for this phone. You would think that fixing this would be a priority. Please make it so very soon. Thx!

I am extremely upset over the phone I just "upgraded"(that's a joke# to and the "assistance" #another joke# I received after the fact.My plan was to get a Droid Razr. I was talked into the Nokia Lumia 822 windows phone. The camera has not worked more than 5 minutes, I went to theVerizon store 3 times to return it #I'm now outside the return window of course# and was made to feel ignorant bc I could not get the camera to work. Was told to invest more money in the phone #purchased accessories there of course# Camera doesn't work, music has to be "forced" onto phone, no SD cards will function, and half the time I cant open pics in texts. I DETEST this phone, and now Verizon too, which I use to love. I am entirely comofortabale using and learning new technology - THAT WORKS. I am very upset about the fact that I felt I could not go back to that store to get help bc 1) made me feel ignorant 2) acted like it was the worse thing ever to try and exchange it. . It is absolute nonsense to be stuck with a phone for 2 years that can't perform the simplest function such as TAKING A PIC, and opening a text. Now I have done a hard reset, lost all my settings etc hoping to make the camera work, and of course still nothing. My Galaxy S has a shattered screen but I will bet getting it reactivated. With a cracked screen, 3G service, and less technology, it is still the better phone.

    Posted by: from Bellingham WA on 11/19/2012I have had my iphone 4 for about 2 years, before that I had the iphone 3gs and decided when the 4S came out I would wait for the iphone 5. When the iphone 5 came out I was disappointed and felt like I needed to change. I looked at Android phones but I found them annoying. I decided I would research the windows phones which ended up being the right time considering it was about a month before the windows 8 phones would launch. the 3 phones I was looking at was Nokia 920, HTC 8x and the Samsung Ativ. I really liked all the specs with the 920 but it was only with ATT so it was out. I didnt like the look of the Samsung Ativ which kinda left me with the HTC 8X........but here were the main problems with the 8x...... 1. its non expandable......16 GB would get filled up fast! 2. no real turn by turn ....it does have maps 3. the software was lacking (nokia comes preinstalled with loads of quality software) everything else was nice with the 8X, screen was amazing, sound was great, and it was thin and lightweight. Why I picked the Lumia 822 I didnt know Verizon was going to carry this phone so when I did find out I went to a store to check it out! I LOVED IT!! 1. the 4.3 inch screen was perfect size.....(place your iphone next to it and it makes the lumia look even better!) 2. expandable up to 64 gb w micro sd 3. it has a ton of good nokia apps Nokia Drive, Nokia Maps, Nokia Music NON AD PANDORA LIKE APP, AND Nokia City Lens....(LOOK IT UP....its AMAZING) 4. the hardware seems solid and I just really like the Windows 8 5. Camera is really good

    Finally a Cell Phone I love A right from the start

    Posted by: from East Stourdsburg, PA on 11/17/2012A pefect phone. It has all the features I wanted. Yes its a new Phone OS so it lacks a few Apps I do use, but nothing crictal. Even though this isn't a high resolution screen its one of the best I've used indoors and out. The live tiles are great and its fun to setup the phone the way I want, not the way the vendor things I want. Also every piece of addtional bloatware from the carrier and vendor can be uninstalled and or reinstalled. YAY! No more things I don't want. Just what I want the way I want. I love the fact the battery is removal. I can add SD cards to the phone. I wish more phones were like this. I can expand it, or at least carry a spare battery. I can also hope they release an extended battery so I can operate longer. Its also cool this supports Wireless charging out of the gate. Just need to find a wireless charger. Sound is great and the GPS driving, though stating beta, worked as well. It got me to where I was going. Let me just say. Awesome phone and for 100 bucks on contract how can you go wrong. Also the power button on the side is actually perfectly placed use. No more werid yoga to turn the screen on/off. Its awesome. BUY THIS PHONE! IT ROCKS!
