Great hardware with a refreshing OS5

I've had this phone for over six months now and find it very user friendly and refreshing. The live tiles really allows me to see all important details of my life at a glance, without having to open any apps. Using the largest live tiles shows the content of the latest notification (email, sms, etc) so it saves time.
The camera technology is much better and the night shots I have taken (hand-held without flash) come closer to those taken with my expensive digital SLR than any other phone I have experienced.
I have a battery app that keeps track of many items including average time between charges and I am at 13.6 hours (about 4 months of data).
The entire suite of Here apps are really great and useful. I was able to find everything easily during a recent visit to California.
The People hub is really nice and makes it easy to keep up with your frequent contacts and what they are doing on various social networks all in one place. It's easier to see any new pictures posted by someone using the Hub than by going to Facebook, for example.
The weight of the phone is not really an issue - it's only heavy relative to some other phones but feels fine after a couple of days of use. It's definitely more sturdy than others. I have dropped mine on hard tile (no case, of course!) from head height and there is absolutely no damage. My friends who got a Galaxy or an iPhone at the same time either have already cracked their screens or have massive cases. I find it much easier to carry in my pocket without a case and without having to worry about damaging it due to accidental drops.
Finally, having free Microsoft Office including One Note and SkyDrive is great. I take notes using OneNote in SkyDrive that is shared among the family. This and other family-friendly features such as Family Room and Groups make it much easier to manage today's hectic family life.- Age : 45-54

The initial reviews of this phone have been very good and the Windows 8 OS was a refreshing opportunity for improvement so I took the leap from my iPhone and I'm glad I did. The screen is fantastic as is the camera and the user interface is a big improvement over a sea of icons. If you want your portable communication device to help you keep in touch with the important things in your world this phone will work well for you. I highly recommend it!- Age : 55-64

First, I have to admit that I really enjoy the windows phone operating system. It's smooth and easy to use. The Lumia 920 is a great device. The sound quality is excellent, the screen is beautiful and the phone is very sturdy. I like the way it feels in my hand. The camera is really nice and my battery lasts all day with moderate to heavy use.- Age : 45-54

One of the Greatest Phones5

Let me start with the weight... it is heavier than iphone 5 and S3... But I got used to this in a few hours and let me tell you, I love the way they made this phone...
This product has a great finish, it makes other phones look naked... In fact there is no need for you to dress it up with protective case, while with others you have to...
This phone is literally unbreakable... I have great confidence carrying it around, and I believe this product is going to last really long... That is something which comes only with a Nokia phone...
The apps, except Live Sports 24 Formula one app, I found all the apps that I use daily in the app store...
Camera, the best out there, because it gives you quality pictures, something you can't get with just increasing the mega pixels...
Live tiles are great, I absolutely love them...
Battery life:- mine lasts for more than a day, I have the NFC turned off, and I only turn it on when needed... Please remember to fully charge it before using or activating it...
Speaker quality:- Absolutely fantastic...
OS:- Very efficient and smooth...
Features:- I like to add here something about the Office 360, Nokia maps, Cloud feature, Memory, Pure view... No other phones out there provides you with such a combination of quality features like Lumia 920...
The only thing that concerns me is the low inventory AT&T is holding...
My first Lumia 920 (Red) was shipped 2 days after I ordered and reached me in 3 days... The second one (Matte Cyan) took 10 days to get shipped and it will reach me this Wednesday...
Potential buyers, there is only one thing I want to tell you... This phone is amazing and you will never regret buying it...17 out of 17 found this review helpful.

I have been using WP since its inception Nov of 2010 I have been waiting for this phone for a long time the operating system is great can't believe more people don't want to check it out. The screen is impressive and the phone is fast. Not quit as fast as the iPhone 5 but its right there. I have clocked At&Ts 4g LTE hear in Colorado at speeds of 26 mbits per second. The phone is great . The only thing is the battery life kind if sucks so you have to fiddle with settings to make it last were I am my phone is constantly picking up LTE and it uses more battery that way, and the phone does get a little warm when doing heavy browsing. The new start screen is awesome once you set it up to your liking it really pops. Buy it you won't be sorry, well maybe if you bought a iPhone 5. Oh and one more thing the video and picture camera ROCK!!! I was jogging down the street filming a video and the image stabilization is incredible. I have filmed running once before with my prior phone and yeah that was the last time I ever did that. The camera is awesome as well.14 out of 14 found this review helpful.

Amazing phone for amazing price!5

This amazing phone hands down beats whatever phones are out in the market today. With its great screen at 4.7 inches and at 1280 x 768 it beats the iPhone 5, Galaxy sIII and any other contenders out there. With the new Qi standard it ensures that you do not have to just buy the Lumia wireless charging mats and can go at a more affordable option, and by doing so is allowing wireless charging to be a better method of charging overall by all of our products. Amazing 8.7 with equally amazing stability feature that really does make a difference when taking photos, including in low light. So many amazing features downloading of entire cities to use nokia maps (for free) turn by turn navigation without using any data, the use of nokia city lens to look around and get directions and easy access to the places around your city, high contrast settings so you no longer have to squint to see whats on your phone on direct sunlight or in the snow, as well as super sensitive touch that you can use a glove a fork your keys anything, truly makes this device worth wating for. Its time to switch.86 out of 92 found this review helpful.

Nokia 9205

The Nokia Lumia 920 is a better choice than other Windows 8 phones because it included Nokia City Lens which is a augmented reality search tool. If you are new to a city or a different part of town, you can activate the City Lens app which turns on the camera and populates the screen with points of interest including location and distance. No other phone offers this. Not Samsung, not HTC, not iOS, and not Android.
Nokia also provides Nokia Music which has over 100 music stations that are free of charge.
The pixel density on the 920's screen is sharp and rivals that of the iPhone 5. Furthermore, the 920's screen extremely touch sensitive making it possible to scroll through the phone with gloves on or with a stylus.
There is a lot of innovation in this Lumia 920 that is unique to Nokia and is not found in any other Windows 8 phone.81 out of 86 found this review helpful.

The camera especially in low light amazes. The stability control should also help take photos of the little one running around.116 out of 134 found this review helpful.
