As nice a phone as you could want

Posted by: from Long Island, NY on 05/18/2013Isn't it ironic that all that R&D goes into designing these beautiful phones that are too fragile for everyday use? So we buy these ugly cases so we don't trash them. Not an issue with the Nokia 920. Between Nokia's legendary tough build to the new Gorilla Glass 2 this thing just doesn't scratch. Go ahead and leave it in your pocket with the car keys, it just isn't an issue. iPhone users perk up when they see the screen clarity and vibrant colors. And the camera quality is superb. If you're not currently using the Windows OS you should be. Drop dead simple, well thought-out, and intuitive, it's just works beautifully. Live tiles that constantly update with useful info that you customize to your interests, right in front of you at a glance...if you don't have it you're missing out. I'm not downloading a lot of content so I can't speak to battery life in that context, but for having my whole life on this phone, social networking, numerous texts and less commonly direct calls it hangs in fine. I rarely use more than 50% over a long day. Best phone I've had to date. No iPhone/Android envy here.

Decent phone, terrible battery life!

Posted by: from California on 05/17/2013Phone was decent for a few weeks, but after 2 or 3 full charges, the battery dies out and can barely last a few hours, even if you shut off the live tiles. Ended up returning and going with iphone 5 for my wife's phone. Overall, not a fan of the phone. Good design, but a bad final product. Fix the battery! Also the apps are limited and couldn't find several that are often used.

overall great phone

Posted by: from newburgh,in on 05/03/2013This phone has everything you could want in a smartphone. All the social apps are there. Call quality is great. One touch button for the camera is awesome and something some of the other smartphones don't have. Very fast web browser free of glitches. Pictures are very good quality. Love this phone. Build quality is the best of any phone that I have seen.

Best phone I've ever owned
5
Posted by: from Gainesville, FL on 05/03/2013When I was looking to replace my phone, I read somewhere that the Nokia Lumia was possibly the best smart phone currently on the market, now that I own one, I have to say they are probably right. The screen is very large, but the phone isn't bulky or heavy. The camera is the best I've seen on a phone, as far as resolution and blur reduction. I don't talk on the phone a lot so I can actually go up to 4 days without having to charge it, unlike my old HTC that I had to charge practically every day. One downfall, which doesn't bother me that much because I'm not a big app-user, but some people might have a problem with this is that there isn't as large of a selection of apps for Windows as there is for Android/iPhones right, but I don't think that will be a problem for long.

I love my new phone
5
Posted by: from High Ridge, MO on 05/03/2013This is my first smart phone, so it took a little getting used to, but I love it. The camera has pretty much replaced my digital camera. Windows 8 is easy to use on the phone and flows nicely. I'm pretty hard on phones and it seems very durable.

Bye Bye iPhone
5
Posted by: from on 04/15/2013I switched from the iPhone 5 and have not regretted it for one minute. I love how with Windows Phone all of your information is right there in your live tiles. Was so sick of having to open an app to find anything at all. The camera on this is amazing! People comment all the time on pictures taken with it and dont believe I used my phone.

Great screen quality if you don't mind the weight

Posted by: from California on 04/13/2013Nokia is coming back to the game of mobile wars. With the release of the Nokia 920 it has a chance with its great screen and new software interface through Microsoft's Windows Phone. One concern that I have is the heft of the phone along with the weak battery life. Not to mention the lack of app selection currently in its portfolio. There is potential although I would probably wait till Nokia comes out with some awe striking camera quality seen in its other products.

best phone on the market
5
Posted by: from houston, tx on 04/13/2013I've been using thus phone since it came out and I must say I'm blown away. It's fast, simple, reliable, the software just flows naturally from one task to the next, it comes with Microsoft Office Word, Powerpoint, Excell, One Note, it syncs with my Windows 8 PCs, and plugs into my Xbox live game account. What's not to love. I only wish that it had a microSD expansion so that I could add more storage, but for most people the built in 32GB will be plenty. This phone and those like it to come are the next big thing, I can already tell. Way too awesome!

Blows My Mind
5
Posted by: from Maine on 03/09/2013Windows 8 Phone is amazing!! So simple to use, so attractive! Draws me in to explore and use a phone. I've used many Smartphones over the past 5 years and this is the only one that makes me WANT to explore for new apps and not just games, apps that make me work with it, play with it, hug it... Nokia's little add ons are awesome too, so many unique apps only for Lumia's that are way cool... and useful! I cannot recommend this phone enough!! Play with it for 5-10 minutes and hopefully you will see what I love about it!
