Since it only comes with 2 plastic cones to spin the cotton candy on, we roll and tape cardstock together to make extra cones, and that works just as well. The cotton candy always tastes delicious, but it definitely looks "home-made." We haven't been able to perfect the cotton candy look... It's usually small and more condensed (not very fluffy). The main reason this was such a great buy for me is that I had a $30 off coupon, so I only paid about half price. At full price it is a bit expensive for the quality, but it's a fun and easy activity to do with kids. We love it.

At least not with the machine. Kids seem to have too much fun with cotton candy. Most of them were wearing a fair amount of it by the end of the evening.
One hint - after the cotton candy begins attaching itself to the stick, make sure you hold it horizontally. Yeah, it's in the instructions, but who really reads those?
