The projector was an inexpensive replacement for an InFocus that went south.
The projector replaced it without much fuss, but due to the 800x600 native resolution, the 1024x768 and 1280x1024 resolutions weren't nearly as bright and clear, but still acceptable.
For it's price it's a great projector so far. I've had it a few months.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

Great Projector for the price5

Well I bought this because I wanted to complete my man cave with a big projection screen. I had everything set up and was very very excited. The picture looked fantastic and the price was right.... unfortunately the throw ratio was not what I had measured/thought. I had to set it up at the far end of the basement and now IT LOOKS GREAT! So Make sure you have enough distance between where it is mounted and where it is displayed first. You can adjust the angles so that if you are pointing down from far away (which I had to do) it's still a square screen. The image is great both the video cable (hooked up through the VCR and can watch TV) and the XBOX360 (HDMI) look spectacular. I bought some cords off ebay link everything together and I have a $1000 + movie like experience for a very very low cost. Great item and great times since I have bought it. I do a lot of presentations with projectors. My older projector could not handle the newer laptops resolution. The Optoma 160S is a perfect fit for my laptop computer. I really like the HDMI connection.

This projector is light weight and quick and easy to set up. It travels well. I would recommend it to anyone that needs a high quality projector for a great price.9 out of 9 found this review helpful.

I love the projector, everything about it except for the fact that the tilting function/screw...came out/broke right away. I contacted the company to get a replacement. They said they would send one, but that was like 6 months ago.3 out of 3 found this review helpful.

This projector is everything everyone here said it was. It's a great value for the price and excellent for movies, games, and more. I read the reviews before buying a projector and glad that I did. I bought this projector at a very last minute moment when my office needed for a presentation the next day.
I delivered it to them at the hotel and they used it without any assistance from me (IT Manager).
