    The Osbournes: What Goes Up
Anticipation was high for the second season of MTV's The Osbournes, and as viewers once again entered the abode of the notorious metal-head, it appeared as if the zoo had been taken over by the animals. Short on the heels of releasing her cover of Madonna's "Papa Don't Preach," thrush Kelly gears up for her maiden stage performance at the upcoming MTV Movie Awards. Meanwhile, Ozzy and Sharon head for Washington, D.C., to attend a presidential reception at the White House. During the subsequent banquet, Ozzy is singled out by the president during a speech and describes the even as a true highlight of his life. At the same time, Jack stands guard back at the family estate. Despite the seemingly "normal" air of the family, a startling and shattering revelation will soon test the foundation of the family and reveal their true devotion to one another. This episode of The Osbournes features a special guest appearance by actress Natalie Portman. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

The Osbournes: The Long and Winding Road
Though up to this point the trials that The Osbournes had faced could mostly be classified as comical and fairly trivial, the family is dealt a devastating blow early in the second season when Sharon is diagnosed with colon cancer. As Jack and his mother remain together in Malibu for her treatment, Kelly maintains distant support as she records her forthcoming album in New York City, and Ozzy struggles to remain strong and sober for Sharon as his tour continues. Meanwhile, Jack has broken his elbow while jumping off a pier, and Sharon puts on a brave face with the confidence that she can overcome the cancer and get back on her feet. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

The Osbournes: The Ozz Man and the Sea
Returning to Malibu to be with Sharon during treatment, Ozzy ventures out to buy wood and inquire about a permit so that he might build a fire on the beach for his ailing wife. As the parents remain together for some quiet time alone, Jack prepares for a guest role on Dawson's Creek and Kelly heads overseas for a European tour. Despite the communication barrier and a mishap in which she loses her bag, Kelly's tour seems to go smoothly in contrast to her father's efforts at deep-sea fishing. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

The Osbournes: Beauty and the Bert
Embarking on a whirlwind romance with punk-rock singer Bert, Kelly brings the hygienically challenged rocker back to her home to meet the family. Though Ozzy's newfound obsession with a cooking program renders him oblivious to his daughter's newfound love, Sharon and Jack both voice disapproval of Bert's noticeable lack of familiarity with soap; Sharon, in particular, becomes acutely concerned with her daughter's new boyfriend. As the romance forms a rift between mother and daughter, Kelly finds her loyalties between love and family divided. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

The Osbournes: Smells Like Teen Spirits
In this episode of the popular MTV series, Sharon's father stops by to pay the family a visit. Easily adapting to the hectic life of an Osbourne, Sharon's father receives a king's treatment when, after complaining of a minor earache, "Dr. Ozzy" springs into action to make a diagnosis. Despite the presence of her grandfather, Kelly embarks on a wild streak and hits the bottle a bit too hard for her own good, prompting a fatherly intervention. Pleading her case that teens are frequently allowed to drink abroad despite the more restrictive stateside legal drinking age of 21, a dismissive Ozzy pleads with Kelly to ease her alcohol intake. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

    The Osbournes: Viva Ozz-Vegas
The Osbournes pack their bags for Sin City as Ozzy prepares for a concert and Kelly celebrates her 18th birthday in this episode of the popular MTV series. When Kelly and friend Sara head out for a wild night on the town, Jack gets left behind due to the fact that he's still not of legal age. As Jack watches television with some friends, Kelly and Sara run wild. Shocking onlookers with a revealing table dance before falling to the floor in front of a disapproving Ozzy and Sharon, Sara horrifies onlookers shortly before Kelly and Jack go toe-to-toe. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

The Osbournes: It's a Hard Knock Life
As the chaotic schedule of being a pop star in training begins to catch up with Kelly, the reluctant songstress vents as such by throwing a series of temper tantrums and demanding to be let out of her recording contract. While Sharon lends a sympathetic ear to her daughter's plight, the conversation leads to P. Ditty, who recently sent Kelly a luxurious watch following a backstage incident in which one of his bouncers knocked over the frazzled thrush. It appears as if Sharon thinks that Kelly and P. Ditty wouldn't make too bad of a couple. Later, Ozzy beams with pride after hearing Kelly's new single and Jack attempts to resolve some issues with one of the bands he manages. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

The Osbournes: My Big Fat Jewish Wedding
While Sharon and Ozzy prepare to renew their wedding vows on New Year's Eve, flower girl Kelly questions the authenticity of the ceremony's Jewish slant and Jack seems preoccupied with his new girlfriend despite nearly unanimous disapproval from the rest of the family. In preparation, the groom-to-be receives a waxing to remove any unsightly hair. As the ceremony gets under way, Sharon expresses hopes that, unlike their first wedding, Ozzy will stay sober enough to cement the vows later that evening. The lavish ceremony reaches a sentimental climax when Sharon recites her personally written and extremely heartfelt vows and Ozzy is deeply touched. When it's revealed that Jack's new female friend shared a bed with the young Osbourne and condoms were found in the vicinity, Sharon pleads with him to settle on a single girlfriend despite his fear of commitment. After the reception, the Village People take to the stage, Sharon offers Kelly's hand in marriage to Justin Timberlake, and the eager bride expresses good-humored disappointment after discovering that Ozzy has once again passed out after a bout of heavy drinking. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

The Osbournes: Cleanliness is Next to Ozzyness
As Ozzy struggles to keep the house clean and the pets in line in the name of Sharon's health, the family also get's mandatory flu shots to make sure no nasty bugs find their way into the household. Meanwhile, the family helps to get Rob settled in. A friend of Kellys who recently lost his mother, the Osbournes have agreed to let Rob live in their home for the time being. Jack offers Rob a warm welcome in the form of a cooking lesson; it seems as if beans on toast is a household tradition, and until you've learned the family recipe, you're not officially an Osbourne. As the two younger men of the house bond, Ozzy discovers to his dismay that he won't be able to have sex with his wife for about nine months. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

    The Osbournes: Meow Means No!
An old friend returns to the Osbourne's household, and the family dog is accused of rape in this episode of MTV's wildly popular reality sitcom The Osbournes. Vigilantly trudging down the road to musical success, Kelly's band begins rehearing for an upcoming concert tour. Though Sarah is hastily appointed drummer due to some scant experience in the past, it soon becomes obvious that she doesn't have what it takes to make the cut, and with a little help from Sharon, she is quickly let go. Meanwhile, the return of Jason Dill finds the head of the household increasingly concerned, though it soon appears as if Dill has mellowed a bit since his previous visit. As a playful wrestling match between Dill and Jack unfolds before the cameras, the family attempts to unlock the mystery behind the apparent inter-species coupling of Arthur the dog and Gus the cat. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
