DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY

I believe it is a design problem, the weight of the stand is too light, where the power is on, it is too strong to keep the unit stand alone stably on the counter top.
Don't waste your time even Best Buy offer free ship, it takes time to bring it back to return.

So far, so good for the price

I will say it's a great buy considering you get a glass container instead of plastic.

It is solid, has more than enough speeds, and the glass pitcher means I don't have to worry about BPA and other plastic chemical nonsense. This one was on clearance for an amazing $20, which was cheaper than the lesser models!

Posted by: blubull from Chandler, AZ on 05/10/2013Good blender for $20, I think it's normally a bit more. It works ok, for making salsa and frozen drinks as long as ice is small and there is plenty liquid. If you throw in frozen fruit and a bit of juice or water you won't get far.
