Good, but not "supported" by Nikon

Called Nikon for some tech support on camera - for some reason they asked me about my memory and I was told that PNY was not one of the supported memory cards and recommended I buy new memory that is supported (including SanDisk). I have no idea how the memory could be affected by the operation of the camera; so, I have chosen to ignore their advice. However, it seems that Best Buy could have / should have given me a heads up on this at the time of purchase (?).

Can hold 1000's of photos
