Great Value when on sale

Installed this memory and it worked great. Plus it was on sale when I went to exchange. Pay the extra money for the PNY brand on HP.

Premium memory at a good price

Posted by: MaseT from Long Beach on 06/20/2012I bought this memory to upgrade an older hp dv-1000 laptop from the factory 512mb RAM. I had previously installed 2GB of cheap Kingston Value Ram, which caused multiple crashes and blue screens. Although the Kingston product works well in some applications, my hp didn't like it. However, the PNY memory works fine and this old laptop has new life in it, does a lot of things much faster and less disc thrashing.

Finally RAM that works!

Posted by: JustinP from Windermere, FL on 03/22/2010I had tried the Kingston Platinum first, after having the second RAM piece not work for my system and having the customer support at Kingston suggest updating my systems BIOS, I decided to just exchange it for another brand. I got the PNY RAM, installed in about a minute, system booted up and has worked perfect!

Super Fast

Posted by: NuclearDan from Canton, OH on 08/10/2009I have a 2003 apple ibook and decided to upgrade instead of purchasing a new laptop. 512MB of RAM just wasn't doing the trick when it came to watching videos or downloading anything. Upgrading to 1.25GB makes it seem like a new machine! It was very easy to install. I have only been using it for a couple of days, but the improvement is astounding! I hope that it continues to deliver fast results in the future.

After researching ways to improve my computer's performance, I bought this RAM upgrade and it's made a very noticeable difference. It's super easy to install (took me about 2 minutes total); goes right underneath the keyboard, which is easy to pop off.

Made a clear and obvious difference on my iBook G4

It wound up being that I just didn't push it in far enough, and once I did, I booted up the computer and there was a very clear and obvious difference in the speed. This is a great piece of ram because its so effective and so affordable!
