Easy as pie

I have no clue what DDR2, PC2-5300, 667MHz mean but I thought doubling the RAM on my 5-year old Dell XPS 400 might be a good idea. The pc was obviously struggling with streamed content giving jittery performance and screen freezes. So I knocked back a beer, went to my local BB store and found about 25 choices in upgrade RAM modules on the shelf. Asked the Geek Squad what to get and they recommended this. Took it home, cracked open another beer for good measure, jammed the chip down in there somewhere, opened another beer for good measure, and fired up my computer. It says "you idiot, you finally put enough RAM here to do something" and has worked great ever since. It is clearly faster now with streamed content and also faster with everything. I recommend this product.

It only really make's your pc generally faster it you don't have enough ram in the first place- at least 3gb in vista is what i recommend
