I purchased 2 of these for easy storage that is portable. ID each for a separate vehicle. Use for transferring music and SYNC System updates to the vehicle system. Music goes on vehicle Hard Drive and system updates are transferred as notified. So far has worded great.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

They exhibit intermittent launch, sometimes not recognized by Windows XP on my Dell PC. Have to remove and insert 2-3 times to properly launch. I found the Kingston DT 101 superior. The bodies of both are too thick to insert 2 flash drives (any combination) into the 2 USB ports together. The cover slides forward but leaves the connector open to dirt and damage.2 out of 2 found this review helpful.

Flash drive 8 Gb $10, I thought, "perfect." Ordered it online w/ a few items and made the pick up in-store. My new pc didn't recognize it so I had to return it and pay a little more for a like item due to lack of stock. First impression. A simple little memory stick and it failed; I may not purchase another PNY product. Unless you trust the brand pay the extra dollar for the one you do trust.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Great Deal, Bad Design4

Bought three of these to use as DVD backups for my Operating systems ( I always scratch dvds to death) price was amazing ($10+ each) PNY is a strong company but the design of the plastic protective sleeve is horrendous, once you slide closed it is nearly impossible to re open with out a flat piece of metal or extreme force- I pulled the plastic guard off with a set of needle nose pliers, snipped of the catch and it was ok.
bottom line is if you need to use this often get a different model. if you rarely use it like I do with two of them then go for it-0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

I use this device to listen to my music files on Ford Sync and have had no issues.
The only thing I have found lacking is the protective slider, I don't know why the even bothered it actually just gets in the way.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

I purchased 9/26/210, it died in late October 2011 and PNY was willing to do nothing. These devices should certainly last longer than 13 months. Based on this experience I will not purchase PNY products and cannot recommend them to others. Would recommend sticking with Sandisk for a reliable product that also comes with a 2 year warranty.1 out of 5 found this review helpful.
