I was really disappointed when I discovered I was unable to put this product to use in my computer. When my son came to put it in he informed me it was the wrong one, and I had asked before I bought it from a friends son if it would work. He did not have me check whether my system used DDR2 or DDR3. As a result I bought this product which was a DDR3 not knowing I could not use it.- Build or modify your own PC : No

My Monitor Wouldnt Work!1

After i purchased these i was excited to get home and put them in. But as soon as i put them in my monitor wouldn't turn on. I guess it wasn't picking up the signal. I double checked the cable and it was all the way in. So i put my other sticks of ram back in and it worked perfectly! Im not sure what it is. It might be my power supply.
If someone knows the problem please let me know.- Build or modify your own PC : Yes

Great ram for value5

40 bucks is what you'd expect to pay for a bottom of the barrel kit of 8gb of ram.
i bought this ram while i already had 4 sticks of 2gb in my system, i swapped two of these sticks for this ram to give me a total of 12gb and it works flawlessly
this ram is good quality and is made by a known brand unlike other ram manufacturers in this price point
it also has a nice body instead of bare DIMM
i highly recomend this because ita great value and works flawlessly as ram should
i put a not so great on speed because for ddr3 ram 1333mhz is pretty much the slowest you can get but no real world affects can be seen unless overclocks are taken into account- Build or modify your own PC : Yes

The ram was just drop in and go. The PC these went in isn't an extreme gamer or overclocker just a basic windows 7 computer with a decent dual core processor.- Build or modify your own PC : Yes

I originally bought one pack, but after installing them with great results I ordered a second set... why not max it out for this price?? So, both packs passed memtest (my experience with memory is that a lot is defective right from the start). Enjoying my 16GB! Bios recognized it properly and set it to the correct speed/timings automatically.- Build or modify your own PC : Yes
