Yet this first set of matched ram immediately ran at higher than 1066 clock timing ( 1070 actual ) without revising the BIOS settings. And It has OUTPERFORMED the other WELL know BRAND in every task. ( YES I set up the system twice, it's easy with ram). I am what is called a Dinosaur in some circles, as I started back with baud signals and flip CRT tube I/O teletypes.
This RAM and Bestbuy's Policies RIVAL online buying in today's competitive climate.

Posted by: Cobol68 from Waterbury CT on 05/18/2013wanted to upgrade from 10 gb to 16 gb. Tried multiple times with multiple patters on memory to add to system but would not boot with new memory.
Went back to store for Geek support, who tried every variation and combination and agreed with me that it would not work, suggested getting another brand of memory from online and refunded the purchase price.

Was on Sale so worth the buy

I was strapped on cash when it needed to be replaced so for my monies worth it gets the job done. I will probably replace it in the next six months. Not the worst product.

Posted by: betadays from Pittsburgh, PA on 05/04/2013The price was right I actually bought 2 packs to upgrade my machine to 16 gig of ram. The only problem is with my motherboard. To put the last simm in I acaully had to remove the video card because of how things are so tight in space. But other than that I have not had any problems. The heat sinks are working great and everything is workign well. I leave this machine on 24/7 since it's a server of mine.

When my son came to put it in he informed me it was the wrong one, and I had asked before I bought it from a friends son if it would work. He did not have me check whether my system used DDR2 or DDR3. As a result I bought this product which was a DDR3 not knowing I could not use it.
